$tacked (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the $tacked mobile application (the “App”), a personal budgeting and expense management tool. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve your experience with $tacked. This includes:
• Name and email address when you create or link an account (e.g., via Firebase Authentication).
• Linked user email if you choose to share your budget profile with another user.
• Device type and operating system (iOS version, model).
• Log data such as crash reports, app interactions, and general usage data (via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics).
• Anonymized identifiers to help us understand app performance and improve features.
• Data you enter manually into the App, including income, expenses, and category names.
• This information is stored securely in Firebase Cloud Firestore, associated only with your authenticated account.
• We do not access your bank accounts or financial institutions directly unless you choose to connect a third-party provider (like Plaid) in the future.
We use your data to:
• Provide, maintain, and improve $tacked’s functionality
• Sync and back up your budgeting data across devices
• Enable shared profiles between linked users
• Diagnose and fix technical issues
• Communicate updates or important changes (only if you opt in)
$tacked does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share data only in the following cases:
• Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google LLC) for data storage, authentication, and analytics. These providers are bound by their own strict privacy and security policies.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
• Business Transfer: If ownership of $tacked changes, user data may transfer as part of that transition, with the same privacy commitments.
Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase’s cloud servers. We apply encryption in transit and at rest.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
• Access, edit, or delete your account and associated data
• Request export of your stored budgeting information
• Withdraw consent to data collection and delete your account at any time

$tacked is not intended for users under 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe your child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.
$tacked uses third-party services for core functionality. These services may collect data as described in their own privacy policies:

• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google LLC) – Google Privacy Policy
If future versions of $tacked integrate financial data providers (such as Plaid), those services will include their own opt-in terms and policies before use.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted within the App or via an in-app notification, with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
